Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VEEKTOZ ("Platform", "Service", "we", "us", or "our"), you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and De Victorz Entertainment, the operator of VEEKTOZ.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Age Requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use VEEKTOZ. Users under 18 require parental consent for certain features including:

1. Veek Connections with Talent Hunters
2. Receiving tips and payments
3. Participating in auditions or trials

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account Types
VEEKTOZ offers three account types:

1. Talent: Showcase skills and receive opportunities
2. Spotlighter: Discover and support talents
3. Talent Hunter: Discover and connect with talents professionally

4. User Content

4.1 Ownership of Your Content
You retain all ownership rights to the content you create, upload, post, or transmit through the Platform ("Your Content"). This includes:

1. Videos, photos, and images
2. Text, captions, and descriptions
3. Audio recordings and performances
4. Your talent story and diary entries
5. Comments and messages
6. Any other creative works you submit

1. Host, store, and display Your Content on the Platforms
2. Distribute and transmit Your Content to other users
3. Reproduce and create copies for backup and CDN distribution
4. Modify Your Content for technical purposes (format conversion, compression, thumbnail generation)
5. Use Your Content in promotional materials showcasing the Platform (with your consent for commercial marketing)

1. This license exists only while Your Content remains on the Platform
2. The license is limited to operating, promoting, and improving VEEKTOZ
3. We will not sell Your Content to third parties
4. We will not use Your Content for purposes unrelated to the Platform without your explicit consent

1. You own all rights to the content or have obtained necessary permissions
2. Your content does not infringe any intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or other rights of third parties
3. Your content complies with these Terms and our Community Guidelines
4. You have obtained all necessary releases from individuals appearing in your content (especially minors)
5. Your content does not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code

1. Violates any applicable laws or regulations
2. Promotes or facilitates illegal activities
3. Contains child sexual abuse material (zero tolerance)
4. Depicts or glorifies violence or terrorism

1. Contains hate speech, harassment, or bullying
2. Promotes discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
3. Contains graphic violence or gore
4. Depicts self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders in a promotional manner
5. Contains sexually explicit or pornographic material

1. Infringes copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights
2. Uses others' copyrighted music, videos, or images without permission
3. Impersonates another person or entity

1. Contains false, misleading, or fraudulent information
2. Misrepresents your identity, credentials, or affiliations
3. Contains spam, scams, or phishing attempts

1. Excessive profanity or vulgar language
2. Content primarily intended to shock or disgust
3. Content that sexualizes minors in any way

1. Review, monitor, and moderate all user content
2. Remove or disable access to content that violates these Terms
3. Use automated tools and AI to detect prohibited content
4. Suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly post violating content
5. Report illegal content to law enforcement

1. Pre-screen all content before it appears on the Platform
2. Monitor all user interactions
3. Verify the accuracy of user-posted information

1. Use the in-app "Report" feature on any post
2. Email copyright@veektoz.com for copyright claims
3. Email support@veektoz.com for other violations
4. Provide detailed information about the violation

1. Maintaining backups of Your Content
2. Understanding that content deletion may not be reversible

1. Retain cached or backup copies of deleted content for operational purposes
2. Retain content required for legal or safety purposes even after deletion

1. Your comments must comply with Community Guidelines
2. Content creators may delete or hide your comments
3. Harassment, spam, or abusive comments will result in account action

1. Collecting analytics on content performance (views, engagement)
2. Sharing anonymized, aggregated data with third parties
3. Using content performance data to improve recommendations

1. We will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content
2. We will notify the user who posted the content
3. The user may file a counter-notice if they believe the claim is invalid
4. We comply with the DMCA and Nigerian Copyright Act

1. All content you post and its consequences
2. Any claims arising from your content
3. Ensuring you have proper rights and permissions

1. User-generated content
2. Loss or corruption of your content
3. Third-party use of your content outside the Platform

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 VEEKTOZ Intellectual Property
All aspects of the VEEKTOZ Platform are protected by intellectual property laws, including: Owned by VEEKTOZ:

1. The VEEKTOZ name, logo, and branding
2. Platform design, interface, and user experience
3. Source code, algorithms, and software
4. Features, functionality, and architecture
5. Original graphics, icons, and design elements
6. Original graphics, icons, and design elements
7. Documentation, tutorials, and help materials

1. Nigerian Copyright Act
2. Trademark laws
3. International intellectual property treaties

1. Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Platform
2. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any Platform software
3. Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access or collect data from the Platform
4. Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
5. Frame or mirror any part of the Platform
6. Use the VEEKTOZ name, logo, or trademarks without written permission
7. Create a competing service using our intellectual property
8. Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense access to the Platform

1. You may not use our trademarks without prior written consent
2. You may reference VEEKTOZ in truthful statements about your use of the Platform
3. You may not use our marks in a way that implies endorsement or partnership
4. You may not register domain names containing "VEEKTOZ" or similar variations

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Platform (URL)
4. Your contact information (address, phone, email)
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use is not authorized
6. A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act

1. We will investigate valid claims promptly
2. We will remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content
3. We will notify the user who posted the content
4. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated

1. Your physical or electronic signature
2. Identification of the removed content and its former location
3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed by mistake or misidentification
4. Your consent to jurisdiction of Nigerian courts
5. Your contact information

1. We will forward your counter-notice to the claimant
2. If the claimant does not file a court action within 10-14 business days, we may restore the content
3. We reserve the right to make final determinations

1. Contact the user directly to request removal
2. File a copyright claim if direct resolution fails
3. Pursue legal action if necessary (VEEKTOZ is not a party to these disputes)

1. Commentary, criticism, or parody
2. Educational or news reporting purposes
3. Transformative uses

1. You bear the risk of fair use determination
2. Copyright holders may still file claims
3. We may remove content pending dispute resolution

1. You grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use them
2. We may implement your suggestions without compensation or attribution
3. You waive any moral rights or ownership claims

1. Unauthorized use of our trademarks or copyrights
2. Creation of competing services using our intellectual property
3. Scraping or unauthorized data collection
4. Circumvention of technical protection measures

6. Veek Connections (Critical Section)

6.1 Veek Connection Agreement
When a Talent accepts a Veek Connection from a Talent-Hunter, both parties enter into a separate Veek Connection Agreement. Key terms include:Attribution WindowA 12-month period begins upon connection acceptance. If any paid engagement results from the connection during this window, platform fees apply.Platform Fees

1. Intro Fee: 2% of first payment (paid by Hunter)
2. Success Fee: 3% of first-year gross (paid by Hunter)
3. These fees apply only if work results from veek

7. Credits & Payments

7.1 Virtual Credits
VEEKTOZ uses a virtual credit system for platform transactions. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between users.
7.2 Credit Purchases
Credits can be purchased through approved payment processors. All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law.
7.3 Withdrawals
Talents may withdraw earnings (minus applicable fees) once they reach the minimum threshold of 1,000 credits (₦5,000). Processing takes 3-5 business days.

8. Platform Fees

8.1 Fee Structure Overview
VVEEKTOZ operates on a credit-based system with various fees depending on user type and transaction type. All fees are clearly disclosed before transactions.
8.2 Credit System
What are Credits:

1. Virtual currency used within the Platform
2. No cash value outside VEEKTOZ
3. Non-transferable between users
4. Non-refundable except as required by law

1. 100 credits = ₦500 / $1 USD
2. 500 credits = ₦2,000 / $4 USD (20% bonus)
3. 1,000 credits = ₦4,000 / $8 USD (25% bonus)
4. 5,000 credits = ₦18,000 / $36 USD (30% bonus)
5. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

1. Payment processor fees may apply (typically 1.5-3%)
2. Displayed before purchase confirmation

3. Daily purchase limits may apply for security

1. Talent receives 70% of tip value
2. VEEKTOZ retains 30% platform fee
3. Minimum tip: 50 credits
4. Maximum tip: 10,000 credits per transaction
